A mobile sports space for every child
The ALICE Truck is the central and most innovative element of the project. It is a mobile sports hub designed to bring sport and active play directly to children living in rural, remote and marginalized communities.
By travelling to places where access to sports facilities is limited or absent, the ALICE Truck transforms parks, schoolyards, squares and other public spaces into temporary playgrounds and open-air sports areas.
How the ALICE Truck works
When the ALICE Truck arrives at a location, the project team sets up a temporary sports and activity area using the equipment carried in the truck.
Children are invited to take part in playful, inclusive and safe activities that combine sport, movement, learning and community engagement.

The ALICE Truck carries a variety of equipment and materials designed to support active play and learning, including:
sports equipment for different games and activities
balls, cones, ropes, nets, baskets and other play materials
educational materials promoting healthy lifestyles
tools for workshops and group activities
materials that can help transform public spaces into temporary playgrounds
Where the ALICE Truck travels
The ALICE Truck will visit communities where children have fewer opportunities to participate in sport and recreational activities. These include rural, remote and marginalized urban areas where sports infrastructure is limited, absent or difficult to access.
By bringing sport directly to these communities, the project helps reduce geographical, social and economic barriers that prevent children from enjoying the benefits of sport and physical activity.
